Loading ...Chris Elliot and I had a good conversation today about this group and what we might could do to bring in some more interaction. We talked about creating a fictional company with a need for a new website. Each meeting we can talk about a specific part of the site (ex. layout, colors, navigation, etc.) and explore how it needs to be applied to the client’s site. To add some spice to it, I would like to see one person play the role of the client and bark out some of the weird things we’ve all heard clients say.

I enjoyed the meeting, but would like to see more opportunities for open discussion using the presentation as a jumping off point for the discussion.
Future topics – browser testing best practices, email newsletter design tips and testing, tools for development and bug squashing, advanced CSS techniques, etc.

Although I wasn’t able to make the first meeting, I agree with Jeremy about the future topic ideas. I look forward to being part of the group.

I enjoyed it too. Great idea to have a quiz at the end !
Another idea is to let everybody present themselves at the beginning of the session, or put name tags at the front door.
