The Web Design Lunch group strives to provide content, discussion and fellowship around the technologies, techniques, and theory directly related to the art of designing for the web. In today’s market, the “web designer” has to be more than a designer and more than a “code monkey”. We have to bridge the gap between the two professions to deliver effective products. The Web Design Lunch group will give you the inspiration and knowledge you need to improve your skills as a cutting edge web design ninja.
- Meet twice a month during lunch
- Bring your own lunch – or get pizza delivered to meeting site
- Discuss topics related to actually designing and building web sites
- Topics will be open discussion and hands on, so bringing a laptop may be good

- Javascript libraries
- Photoshop slicing into HTML
- Server side languages (PHP, Ruby, ASP.NET C#, etc.)
- What is Twitter – just kidding
- Design theory
- CSS grid systems
